I am done with topps after everything I had (and many others) had to go through. I'm in 100% support with Panini, they're already treating their customers right on the football side.

this comment i have not verified myself, sure im a victim of a topps replacement but i was Isiah Thomased #/999, Im not backing any of these 2 Company's up but i have never heard of anyone getting a spuds or isiah or any other auto in replacement for a higher end player sry
Collecting All Current Las Vegas Raiders, Carmelo Anthony, Ken Griffey Jr, Bo Jackson, Frank Thomas.
plus many more, Also any Legend or HOF raider players as well.
Just getting back into the Hobby so not much tradebait but have some stuff just let me know what your looking for and i will see what i have, No trade List Available yet but i am working on one.

Personally, as a basketball and football collector, Topps has always been on the bottom of the ladder IMO. They always have weaker products and bad customer service. Honestly I think Panini will do well in basketball, so far they have done great work in football.

well for the basketball world lets just hope panini does well we need some help hopefully creativity will be a major factor in thier success but we can only wait and see

I've created a thread about my horror story of Topps replacements, the thread is called "Topps Replacement Misery", look for it to get the full story, it should be a few pages back or so. But here is a list of cards I was supposed to receive, got NO warning that they were going to be replaced and the card that was sent to me as the replacement. (Everything in red is a redemption card I pulled!)
1. 08'09 Topps Co-Signers Rajon Rondo & Devin Harris dual autograph card
-Replaced by a 08'09 Topps Signature John Havlicek auto. card #/699 I think
2. 08'09 Topps Chrome Darrell Arthur autograph refractor rc
-Replaced by a 08'09 Topps Signature Spud Webb auto. card #/1,899
3. 08'09 Topps Chrome Joey Dorsey autograph refractor rc
-Replaced by ANOTHER 08'09 Topps Signature Spud Webb auto. card #/1,899
4. 07'08 Topps Letterman Ray Allen autograph team logo patch #/75 i think
-Replaced by a 08'09 Topps Signature Isiah Thomas auto. card #/999
I've never bought a box of Topps Signature. I buy 1 box of 07'08 Topps Letterman, 2 boxes of 08'09 Topps Chrome & 1 box of 08'09 Topps Co-Signers and I end up with 4 cards from 08'9 Topps Signature......Last edited by Zeppelin1985; 08-05-2009 at 04:33 AM.

haha, i heard they are out of spuddy webbie's and isuck thomas autos, and now , they are giving out refractors to replace those redemption!!!!! i have one on the way, so, imma cross my fingers and get..... at least a spuddy's or isuck's auto....instead of those refractors.....well, i guess a rose RC refractor who be too bad...but oh well, we will see and regardless, i'll be callin both, the BBB and topps just to get more free cards!!!!!
