BREAKING NEWS: Bears' Hester will not return kickoffs

ESPN just broke the news that the Bears return specialist Devin Hester will not return kickoffs this season, but he will continue to return punts. Unsure what the reasoning is, but this seems pretty stupid to me...

Smart move IMO

If I'm not mistaken, he didn't have any return TD's last season. Maybe it's for the better even though he can still give the team good field position.

These numbers are from NFL.com and this is why I said that about Hester. last year he had 679yd, 0TD,20 returns of 20+yds & 2 returns of 40+returning KO
Manning had 1070 yds, 1TD, 28 returns of 20+ & 9 returns of 40+ returning Kicks
And that, my friend, is how you can look better than Hester returning kicks. Numbers don't lie

if they are using him as their #1 WR this is a good move, the Eagles do the same thing, DeSean is our best returner but we don't let him do KR either.

I don't watch the Bears that much, but seeing his highlights, and how he tends to burn the Vikings is why I asked...lol
