On TSN last night they played a "Top 10" JR moments, lol, man was that guy a character or what. Some of the things he said and did were just too much. I hope he sticks around the NHL in some capacity cause losing his sound bites would be a shame.

He has always been one of my favorite players no matter where he played. I hope that when he goes into the HOF he goes in wearing the Indian Head.

As he said in the video with his own channel and not playing anymore he can say anything he wants without the NHL coming down on him. Should be fun to see.

it is a great day. this jerk is gone! NO ONE LIKED OR WANTED YOU IN LA!!!!
sorry but i freaking HATE this guy. He was god awful in LA and blamed it on not being able to find someone to sharpen his skates the way he wanted them to be. so glad to see him go without a ring

Say what you want about JR, but the league needs more people like him. Not many players could sit in front of a camera like that, and go through 8 minutes of speaking with such charisma. The camera loves him, he loves the camera. He tells such great stories, and has had such epic battles with teams and players.
Cnshockey - Give the man a break. Relax too. Just because he didn't help an already poor team, doesn't mean it was his fault. He was coming on the end of his career, and after the lock out he just wasn't the same.

p.s. L.A. did sign him did they not? So someone wanted him. As Rich said he was on the downside much like J.R. in the vid. If he played god awful then I assume Luc was in the same boat as well.

Loved him when he first came in the league and the special times when he was a Flyer. I fully agree, the NHL needs many more like him.
