Local Hobby Shop and 2009 Showcase....
Our local hobby shop has the showcase (three boxes) for $199.00 each, plus tax.
He has backed down to $175.00 each if I take all three.
I've seen some great pulls...and I've seen some crap.
Any thoughts?

If I had the money and if I were you I would do it. Whats the odds from those boxes?

Randy, I believe that it is just the luck of the draw. Or in poker a crap shoot. If I could afford it I would roll the dice and take a shot. Do you know what has been pulled in the other three boxes from the half case. Maybe get a half case hit in those three.

Actually the owner told me that the boxes he had sold (he did not say how many), did NOT have an autograph in the boxes, and the pulls were not impressive (okay...I'd be happy with Jeff Burton, but he doesn't seem to think Jeff is a great pull).
I do know the owner did not bust any boxes, he said from what he saw he was not impressed.

That's actually a good thing. That makes for the better hits to be in the remaining. I'm serious, Randy. If you don't want them, I will buy all three!

I'm like Stevens thinking, since there hasn't been anything woth while yet, menas atle3ast the case hits are still there also.
