Do you need to be on an admin account possibly?

IDK, its deleted everywhere besides when i go to the control panel. Is there any way of making another shortcut to my main screen from the control panel? That way i can change it to admin and try it that way. thanx :)

i had an issue with quicktime like 6 months ago
it wasnt till i went to delete it that it gave me problems
i was able to delete it but the shortcut link on my desktop screen would never go away, and if i tried to delete it it slowed my computer waaaaaay down and showed me some error message
and it took FOREVER for my laptop to start up
i tried various things to remove it with no success
i ended up having to leave it there, as long as i didnt touch it with my mouse it was fine
it turned out to be like a "scar" on my hard drive
a few months later i accidentally turned off my computer without shutting it down and when i turned it back on it showed me a weird *** screen, if i remember correctly it told me to do a disk (hard drive) "cleaning" or something like that, i thought my laptop was messed up
but i did the "cleaning" and it started right up, the shortcut wasnt there anymore and all was well
i hope what happened to me isnt happening to u and its just an easy fix
good luck
