this is exactly what I thought. There was not much of a window in between the sale of the original unaltered patch and the time this one was listed. To me it seems unlikely that the card changed hands again in that time.

That card was actually purchased by a member on this site and he sent me a PM asking if I thought the card was fake, I noticed the ding in the bottom left corner of the patch window and I told him it looked like it has been tampered with, also the patch looks stretched very tight. I feel bad a fellow member bought this card!! If members would get others opinions before making purchases like this it would prevent alot of heartache!

Just a quick note: I would suggest that nobody buys any nice looking Patch Autos from (cookscards, demarcus8, exquisitebaybuys) all 1 user, tons of altered patches!!

That site has been out of date for the last 2yrs. Furthermore he has patches on there that were legit and proven so on Beckett. He had a ton with before and after which was fine but in an effort to grow the site he was posting legit cards at times just based on what he thought

That may be so. I haven't been on there in a while. But I don't put much stock in anything Beckett has to say. Especially since they always favor Upper Deck products in their price guides. Though, I guess I would too if UD was feeding me loaded boxes for all my breaks. I always go right to the card company to verify card info.
