Will Rajon Rondo be great ?
Just curious Other's thoughts.
If he improve his FT and 3PT(of course, it is really really hard though) with less ego, he might be better.
But I think it might be hard to be CP3 or Deron Williams level even he improves his ability.
(I hope he will do that though.)
will he be able to be All Star level player?
PG level - now
Nash, Kidd > CP3, Deron >> Rondo(?) >>>> normal
As my OP
Strong Point
- Great Atheleticism
<-- Off topic, look at his face. lol
- has less or no fear
Weak Point
- Bad FT as PG <-- I think SHAQ's is better than Rondo's at least now.
- Bad 3PT as PG
- Hot Temper (against Elite PG like CP3 and sometimes from less fear)

- a bit ego (might be able to harm to team chemistry)

He has great potential, and could be as good as CP3, but I think when all is said and done, he'll be a step behind CP3...and that's still pretty darn good!

Bingo. That's the bottom line with Rondo. He's not a good enough shooter than he can create his own shot if he were the focal point. Once Garnett/Allen retire, Rondo will be average at best, just like he was when he came into the league. His game hasn't evolved much since he came to the NBA (which his terrible shot proves), just the players around him have made him better.
