Isn't it a Jellyfish???? Or am I just tired

I also got one for you too Nathan. A guy wants to walk down stairs and turn on the lights. There are 3 light switches to check but he can only go down once to test them. How do you find out which lightswitch works?

Nope, not a jellyfish, but good guess - creature isn't really the proper word for this one, but it's what it's told with...saying "I'm thinking of something" makes it almost too easy...

As for yours, it doesn't say that he can't go back up...

Flip them all on one-by-one as you are going down? If not, I'm stumped...lol

I've heard this one before too...but i still don't think you have it worded correctly...or maybe i'm just thinking of a different riddle

but i think you turn on one switch, wait a few minutes, then turn that switch back off....turn on the second switch and then walk upstairs

the light bulb that is turned off, but is warm belongs to the first switch, the light bulb that is turned on belongs to the second switch, and the light bulb that is turned off, but is cool belongs to the third switch that you never touched

You know, your right.. I still don't think its correct.. But that is the answer that I was thinking of. Hehe... Car talk is good for these about every 3rd show. I got a few more oddball puzzlers like this but I won't hijack Nathan's thread.
