I am currently having a nice little ebay problem that has me quite irritated

I recently won the auction for the following card

Marc-Andre Gragnani H&P Emblem/Auto Gold 1/1

Today, about 4 days after the auction I receive a message from the ebay seller saying that he can't find the card!

Now if this was say like a Lee Stempniak MVP RC or something along those lines I'd be like ok no big deal, just refund and we will move on

But misplacing a 1/1, that's simply unacceptable in my opinion.

Therefore, I told him that if he can't find the card within the next few days that I will be leaving negative feedback for him, because I'm furious with this situation

The seller then proceeds to flip out about my wanting to leave negative feedback and says that I really shouldn't because he hasn't done anything wrong....REALLY?

seller lists a MAG17 1 of 1
you win said 1 of 1
you PAY for said 1 of 1
seller "losses" said 1 of 1
seller goes bonkers because he doesn't feel a negative is warranted for him losing a card.


do I have everything correct at this point?


i'd wait until the refund is issued, then hammer him (and buy some more from me! )

yes, I totally agree too. I would leave negative feedback too if a guy misplaced a 1/1 that I paid good money for.
I would be angry too.

I HIGHLY encourage people to avoid dealing with the ebay seller hattricksports, as he's screwed me out of a 1/1.

Seller remorse. It obviously did not fetch what he anticipated and this is his cheesy out. You DO NOT lose a 1/1.

hattricksports huh? i won a sutter spa sott from him for about $5 and it took incredibly long for him to ship it out. i paypaled it as soon as i won and i waited a week before i messaged him and he just said i will ship out...didn't even give me a date. i received it about 3 weeks later...and after reading this, i'm not buying from him again. i would leave negative feedback too man.

Wow, and I was about to bid on that card too! Sorry to hear about your situation dude. I would say that if he can't find the 1/1, negative feedback is warranted since he couldn't follow through on providing what he was selling.
