The Gem of my Bobby Phills Collection has arrived!!!!!!
A while ago, I posted a thread about a Bobby Phills APEX Xtreme 1/1 that I was hoping to win on eBay, but the auction was ended early. See the following:

Well, after that happened, I contacted the Seller about it and never got a response. I figured someone else had offered him a price he couldn't refuse for it, and that it was long gone. I tried to get over it and eventually started to forget about it.
Last week I got a PM from a forum Member, letting me know seller still had it. He had been attempting to get the card for me. The seller acted like he would relist it at some point.
I asked the seller again if he had the card still and would be willing to sell it. After explaining why I wanted it so bad, and offering a very nice price for it, we had a deal. For the next few days I didn't hear anything from the seller, and of course being paranoid like I am, I assumed the worst. I decided to wait till the end of the week and see if anything shows up, preparing for the worst.
Well, Today in the mail, I received a package. Inside was the card. I am EXTREMEly Happy! I am very happy and gratefull to the seller for agreeing to our deal. This will surely be the centerpiece of my Bobby Phills Collection. This is the first 1/1 card I have ever owned, and a very important Bobby Phills card to me. You see, Bobby Phills only has 8 certified autographs, and only 5 1/1 cards if you don't count printing plates. He has absolutely no GU or Patch cards, or any other type of memorobila that I am aware of. So his 5 1/1 cards are my most sought after items for my collection.
I purchased a few boxes of APEX a while back hoping to pull this card. I didn't get it, but I did pull the Bobby Phills APEX Xtra /50. I was thrilled with that, and had resigned myself to never seeing any of Bobby's 1/1 cards. Then this card showed up.
So, without further babbling, here is my Bobby Phills APEX set:

Glad your hard work and determination finally paid off!!! Very Nice card for your Bobby Phills collection. That was one of the first couple of post I read before I became a member and thought that sucks for him. So it looks like Mathew might get the Kobe auto? But really congrats on getting one of your dream cards.
