I agree on the lyricism of some the guys I mentioned like Busta and Method Man, Camron, Ice Cube. They been in the game so long its hard to talk rap without mentioning them. Camron was nice until Killa Season and maybe even Purple Haze. He still has the ability to go hard when needed though, especially in beefs. AZ and Nas share similar styles but I think AZ has enough dope material to squeeze his way in there, I also think he outshined Nas on a few tracks. Hes got a smoother flow and delivery. I had to look up that Styles P Joint to remember the track your talking about. I have it on a mixtape somewhere. I thought about putting Styles P on the list but nah.

Kool Moe Dee wasnt a lyricist but he was the rapper's rapper back then. I should have just took the lyricist out of it.

I can agree with everyone on your list as they are all respectable. I think Luda has the best chance of todays commercial rappers getting mentioned with the greatest. He is one of the few mainstream artists who I think really freestyle off the head.

Man I threw in a CD that I hadn't listened too in a looooooooooong time today.

    GraveDiggaz

Hey you little rich kid, whats your beef?
Come and tell the Grym Reaper all of your grief
You asked for a Benz and you only got a Jeep
Your pops got endz, but yo hes mad cheap
Maybe youre a b*****d child you think
Mom and dad are white and youre dark as ink
Maybe youre Sicilian with a tan
But you hate lasagna and the pizza man
Now you stand on the grave digga locked and
Youre singing the blues about the rough life youve got
    Not
You dont wanna live no more
I guess youre really ready for the grave yard tour
When you get home just seal up your windows and your doors
Turn your oven on high for about four hours
Light you a blunt, kiss your a** goodbye
You gassed yourself cause its a suicide
