This is the single most entertaining auction(s) that I've ever seen! I love it!

I just got done with a 10 minute conversation with this guy.. He is cuth and polite when talking in person.. He said he bought the card in a big lot at the National, and was not aware it was fake.. He also said he had not read any of his E-mails, and ended it the first time because he didn't think the bidders would pay the price they were bidding.. He relisted it because he thought it would sell good after his game yesterday.. He said he just read the E-mails I sent him (They were all very well mannered), and was not mad at me anymore.. He also said he has someone bidding on it that he knows, since he can't end the listing.. I offered to place a high bid, so he could end the listing and sell it to the high bidder.. He respectfully declined. Take it for what you want, but listing a second time with Private Info still seems a little funny.. DOUG

^^^^ agree, you know his buddy isnt bidding on it.... if that were the case he would have revised the listing to reflect him knowing that it is fake.... he is just trying to scam someone by making it a private listing and downsizing the scan....

that is the bottom line... He can say whatever he wants, but his actions don't lie. Relisting it privately absolutely labels him shady/scammer/etc. in my book...

Bottom line is that his card sold for $100-150 less than it would have if it still had the original 3-color patch. Chalk one up for the good guys.

The fact that it's up as private now is a huge concern. Someone is going to get scammed. How is he getting these numbers?
