While I agree with JF that the demand has shifted more to Montreal Roy stuff since he retired, the feeling is, within the next few years, Roy WILL take a position with the Avalanche.
That will most certainly bring the spotlight back to his Avalanche stuff. Plus the swatches are much nicer.
I say Roy Colorado Avalanche!

Anymore? It is the same pattern since 2001-02... we cannot mix the print runs of the redemption cards with the print runs of the redeemed cards. In 2001-02, ITG produced a total of 10 Made To Order cards (single), each printed 1/1 on the back of each card. In 2002-03, ITG produced 10 MTO Single, 10 MTO Double, and 10 MTO Triple (so a total of 30 MTO)... each printed 1/1 on the back of each card. What makes each a 1/1 is the picture on the card is different, even if the player is selected on multiple occasions. In 2003-04, ITG produced a total of 50 MTO with 10 MTO Single, 10 MTO Double, 10 MTO Triple, 10 MTO Complete Jersey and 10 MTO Complete package. 2003-04 was the edition the cards were licensed by NHL & NHLPA, also the last year ITG printed "1/1" on the back of the cards... why? I do not know. In 2004-05 it was only licensed by the NHL, no more printed 1/1 on the card, and in 2005-06 is was not licenced by anything, and the beginning of head shot pictures only. ITG made more variations of MTOs and the overall production of MTOs were higher every year. Also, the first ones in 2001-02 were mostly with jersey pieces, while the new ones are with special emblems/patches such as portions of NHL Logos. As long as the picture is unique on each card inside the same category of MTO, they are 1/1 cards, not 1 of 10, or 1 out 5. I wanted to make this clarification here.

Wow tough call eh? As the owner of a complete jersey card, they're spectacular items to have. And given that it's an MTO this will truly pop. For you I'd say go with Roy, Montreal. But if you really want a spectacular piece go with Vezina. There's a few MTO Roys out there (you've seen several already in Chris's bucket) but I would think that Vezinas are few and far between.
Habs fan and collector! Current PC's: Nick Suzuki, Cole Caufield, and Lane Hutson...., and of course...

When I think of what you collect Karine there is not a doubt in my mind that you should get a nice Brodeur/Roy combo.
*EDIT* I thought it was a dual player one. I would lean towards Roy Montreal as well since he was a pain in the butt to us Bruins fans for all those years...LOL
Congrats on the hit!

Tricky business indeed... thanks for the advice all.
And Carol, there are 10 Made to Order Complete jerseys inserted in the whole of BTP Print Run. That doesnt mean the 10 people who will pull it will request Roy does it? There are plenty of money hungry people out there who would redeem it for a Lingdberg or a Plante and then try to sell it for big bucks or make smaller collectors give up the farm for them in trade....
So far, I am edging towards Roy Montreal...
Jean-Francois, c'est tu moi ou c'est un drole de hasard qu'on parlait de ces cartes la l'autre jour? Presque incroyable lol

Roy as Hab or Vezina. If it was me, I'd do Vezina, IMO that's worth the most. Really, how many Roy JSYs are there? How many Vezinas???

If those are your choices, I'd have a hard time passing up the Roy Montreal. That being said.... the Vezina would be pretty tempting too (and likely my pick).
