I am just happy that not as many Yankees are in as used to be.
Had Torre been the manager, I guarantee you Jeter would've been there, and Bernie Williams.
One player who definitely should be there is Clemens

I disagree about Clemens. He isn't having all that good of a year.
Not up to the Clemens standard anyway. There are plenty of other deserving AL pitchers.

Willis may be off to a great start but Wood is having a great year too.
Wood :
8-6 3.36 ERA
Willis
8-1 2.13 ERA
Wood is having a great year too? The ERA's speak for themselves.

yeah, but Dusty's said he has never seen the guy pitch, so that is why he didn't put him on, plus you have to look at this as well wood can very well be a 15 game winner at this point he has like 5 or 6 no decisions as the bullpen blew wins for him and he leads the league in K's... I think that willis should have made it but who do you take out...
I also think Latroy should have made it over Guardado, he has better stats then eddie.
I bet before it is over and done willis should be there, and I also think Clemens should be there, just because, now the homerun derby will be w/o bonds and sosa...

So what about Wood could have or should have... the fact still remains he has 6 losses and those ARE his fault. Willis could very well have 20 wins right now if he had pitched since the beginning of the year.
Poor Willis was homered here...

Willis is a rookie so eventually like all rookies, he'll get burnt out. That doesn't mean Wood is better than him though. I sure hope Wood has more wins considering currently Wood has started 7 more games than Willis.
With Willis' wins/starts ratio, he'd have over 13 wins right now if he started as many games as Wood.

yeah I know, but they have 8 win a piece right now, don't get me wrong, I like willis, he has tremedous success and his teams score runs for him, but we will see what happens tomorrow v/s the cubbies and zambrano...
