alright im calling UD tomorrow. even though the guy i got this from is a guy i can trust ill still call myself anyway. now that there has been so many talk of people thinking its fake it will be hard to trade now. in my opinion it looks like any other kobe auto, especially since its from his rookie year his signature probably wasnt well develpoed like it is in later products. and the certification card easily could have been lost by the original owner. i know that there are fake buybacks out there so i know its not ridiculous for people to wonder if all buybacks are real, but you cant necessarily just say its fake without knowing. so thats why i'm gonna call upperdeck tomorrow. i just dont wanna pay for a $20 dollar replacement coa, but i should so everyone will know it's real. but thanks for your opinions. if anyone is still interested and believes its real and would give a reasonable offer just lmk, thanks

sorry bro, even the idea that kobe signed it on his rookie year does not fit and justify the "auto"..
the card might be from his rookie year but for the card to be considered a buyback auto, it should have been signed and reinserted on another year..
but for your own satisfaction, do contact UD.. i think that would be best for you.. altough, im leaning towards it being a fake as well

90% of people would agree that it's a fake, however UD has previously "guaranteed" authenticity upon question. There's a very long HobbyKings thread dedicated to this particular card which mostly mirrors the discussion here. Given that I believe it's against forum rules to post links to another site, I will just say that the gist of the thread is, "UD says it's real, but it would be wise to assume it's not."
