People take out the original worn patch, and replace it with a usually not worn patch that looks better so they can get more money when they sell it.Last edited by Oviefan5252; 02-16-2011 at 01:02 AM.

the Ovechkin looks amazing but at the same time UD rarely make these types of patches. they usually chop them up and diverse them around. chances are its fake =[

I think the Ovie was actually on UD's website as an advertisment or promo card I guess.

This thread has me a tad bit concerned now :P
Does anyone know if the Ebay seller dr.bob93 is legit?
I mean he has an impressive feedback rating but a helluva lot of above average patches.
Thanks in advance.

On another forum or maybe on here I saw someone mention that seller had a Rainbow card of someone for sale. But the thing is that was for someone else and it turned up missing in the mail. So somehow this Dr. Bob got it. I can't seem to find the post, but that should speak for itself.

Dr.Bob has a incredible Radulov patch for sale in november ... I posted the card here and got a answer from a other user who previously owned this card ... same card with a different patch...

Yeah it is a shame. I'd stay away from this guy. I can't find that post I saw, but apparently something someone bought somehow got in this Dr. Bob's hands and he was selling it on ebay. If I locate it I'll be sure to get it up.

This is alarming, but I have been collecting mostly certified auto cards. Are there any known instances of people somehow faking auto cards??
