well not as a card type of a card, but yes it's in the same category as cards...they're basically just cards in the form of poker chips...these chips even have refractor variations and some players have insert versions as well.

Ha, really? That's funny...do you happen to know what the variations are, or know of a place that would have a list? In case you know, my KG one has a black/blue border.

edit: and i meant check ebay just so you can see how they're packaged and such lol ;)

Oh, lol...I'll do that...wasn't even thinking that...oops! Thanks!

    this is what i remember:

1/1 chips are white/black i think? the serial # is on the back of them...maybe there weren't 1/1s though, i forget.
in the white/black ones, there were regular unnumbered versions and a #'ed /599 ones
red/black came as some were refractors, some weren't. the refractors were #/399 i believe.
there were blue/black refractors and were #/299
    there were green/black xfractors #/199
there were also auto chips and idk if they are #'ed or not.

there were red/black ones that were also All-Star ones and had pics of the players in their A.S. uni. there were also legends included in all colors of the chips, as well as rookies and loads of veterans.

Wow...more chips in that set than parallels in a topps set! lol

Well, mine has the blue/black edge, but is not numbered, as far as I can tell at least! Thanks for the explanation/help!

Yep, mine's unnumbered...and it looks just like the middle chip of kardkid's post, only KG.

Wow, that's a bit pricey...but, if they have good value, then I guess not really...thanks for the info!

    hi

these product were release in 05-06, the hobby pack consist of 5 chips per pack with one parallel per pack as follows white numbered to /599, red numbered to 399, blue numbered to 299 , green numbered to /199, gold autograph (topps stated 100 each) and gold numbered 1/1

retail blasters consist of 20 chips with 3 parallels for 9.99$ which is a bargain, i had fun opening a product hoping to get the gold parallel which i never did.
