Help Would Be Appreciated.... I'm In a Rut
If anybody remembers, I had a thread regarding an octograph that was never produced and had to get it replaced with a kobe chronology auto, adrian peterson auto /15 a barry sanders julius jones auto /25 and a big ben auto /25 or something.
Well upper deck just called me at my work and informed me that they just got the octograph made.
I just have to send back the kobe peterson and barry sanders (i get to keep the big ben auto) to get my octograph of AP, Clinton Portis, Jamal Lewis, Joseph Addai, LT, Larry Johnson, Marion Barber III and Marshawn Lynch.
So do I keep my redemption cards or get the original octograph and keep the ben roethlisberger.

Hmm tough call there. I guess it all depends on if you're attached to the AP, Kobe and Barry.

Did you ask for the replacement cards or did they just send them to you? If they just sent them to you, I'm pretty sure you can keep everything they sent you and still require them to send you the octograph. Just depends on how far you want to push it.
If you told them to send you the replacement stuff AND you'd accept that in place of the octograph, I'd probably just keep what you got.
Upper Deck is so (expletive) terrible. "Hey, sorry... we lied to you earlier about this card. Sorry about that. We made it. Now, we'll send it to you, but we want those cards back that hold no value whatsoever to us in the grand scheme of things. We just don't want our customers to be TOO happy."

I'd keep what you got. You made out like a bandit on replacements.

I would definetly keep the replacement cards, that way it saves that octo for all of us with stuff from UD that we haven't had redeemed yet, ha ha. Really though, I think the replacements they gave you are much better than the octo.

keep the replacements. it would be hard to sell it because of the lynch. i had a 400.00 ap/lynch national treasures #ed to 30 and i finally sold it for 190.00. everyone said they wanted ap only auto or said they didnt want it because it had lynch on it.

I would keep those replacements. Octo is nice, but having single player auto cards seems like a better deal to me
