    It's numbered out of 8.

I asked them which number specifically I would be receiving and the rep will get back to me later.

I'm so attached to the Kobe thats the only reason i dont want to part w/ all my cards for that one, plus all those players except for peterson are having pretty bad seasons.

One more question for everyone, thanks for the help already, but what kind of value do octographs have?

B/c if i got it i'd sell it. I got 3 future hall of famers (kobe, ap, big ben) and barry who is in the h.o.f already for a bunch of scrubs plus ap & lt.

definitely replacements. UD is awful for even putting you in this situation.

the situation is horrible, correct, but they were pretty good at keeping me updated the whole time thanks to ben koebler chris carlin and shane wheatley.

Those three didnt screw me over, upper deck did.

So how do I respectfully tell them that "no thanks, the replacements I got for my card are way better than the card I was being so adamant about getting to begin with"?

    Just say something like this

"Thanks for keeping me well updated. I appreciate all you've done for me and sent me amazing replacement cards. I am stuck in a perdiciment as I can not decide if I want that octograph anymore because of these replacement cards. Is there any way possible I can keep them and have the octograph? If not, that it totally fine but I would like to keep the replacements then. Allow some other happy card collector to get that octograph as I would prefer to keep what you have sent me. Once again, I apprecaite all you have done for me and have been great in terms of customer service. Thanks for all the help and please let me know at your earliest convience"

I actually think it's a good gesture on UDs part. If he had really wanted the Octo, he now has the opportunity to still get it.

To the OP: I'd keep the replacements.
