The real question should be why Hughes didnt start the 7th. Oce the Yanks grabbed the lead it should have been Hughes/Mo to get the final 9 outs.

Not saying that. I think they're both set up for very good careers. I'm not the one saying one sucks while the other is good when they have extremely close numbers through almost the same number of career IP. One pitches in the NL and the other pitches in the AL.

The reason most yankee fans are saying Mo should have been brought in with 2 1/3 innings left me anyways is sabathia saved the bullpen and Mo definitely could've closed it out.

With better managing the yankees probably would've swept, not turning on Joe now as he's done a great job this year, but he's making some very questionable moves in this series, the acieves move, the marte move, not bringing mo in with 2 1/3 innings to go and the lead.
See, I think they did the right thing by not bringing him in then...if the Angels retake the lead anyway, then what? Do you let him pitch over 2 innings? Even if the Yankees hold, would Girardi be making the best decision by letting him pitch 2.1 innings, especially if there is a chance the series goes back to New York?

You dont watch the Dodgers and you know nothing.
Kershaw's ERA 2.79 186 Ks 1.23 Whip .200 BAA
Joba's ERA 4.75 133 Ks 1.54 Whip .274 BAA
Joba isn't a starter and idk why he starts. Put him in the bullpen
Oh Btw Kershaw is only 21 years young.

Mo should have pitched the 7th (after they pulled AJ, I would've let him start the inning) and the 7th only. He definitely SHOULD NOT have pitched the remaining 3 innings. I would not have thrown him 2 innings either.
Mo in the 7th. Hughes in the 8th and 9th.

I hope the Phillies exploit Joba... Too bad he isn't a starter and doesnt have to face their sick lineup
