It could, but playing two games in Yankee Stadium regardless of who's pitching for the Angels would be tough. Even if they bring Lackey back on 3 days rest, I'm not sold that he would beat us heads up against CC.

I am sold, CCs track record is terrible in clutch games and Lackey is solid in big games..

Besides do the Yanks really want Burnett pitching game 1 of the WS against Lee? LOL

Let's see them get through Pettite first, who has a GREAT track record in clinching games, in fact he has more than anyone in MLB history. And if the Angels have shown they can do nothing with Sabathia. He can't control what he did in the past, but he sure looks good thus far. Whatever happens happens, but I would still rather be in the Yankees shoes than the Angels.

No I agree Jes, defintiely helps giving the Angels the option to go back to Lackey.

for game 6 yes, but it'll be a nightmare for Yanks fans to go to a game 7...

Phillies gotta be rooting for the Angels to take this to 7

I'm sure the Phillies are lovin it. Although cold teams going into the WS seem to have issues once it finally starts...I.e. Colorado, Detroit

Yea that is true. but Philly has been there before which i think will help. i do think the time off between series is ridiculous though, the goal shouldnt be playing in November

Yea, I don't know why they waited so long... Seems like we might be having snow outs if it goes long enough.

Because they get the almighty dollar, Philly and NY should be expecting snow in November, atleast i'd assume being Michigan has had snow in November
