I am considering venturing into Basketball cards (I am mainly hockey), just wondering what collectors think about this product. Is it any good? I am thinking of getting a case.

Like anything else, its a hit or miss.

I've had really good luck with mine, but I've watched a lot of youtube breaks that were horrible.

You will get a lot of hits, but most of them will be standard jersey cards, which get incredibly boring. The highlights are the game used lettermans, acetate auto/jersey rookies [2 per box], authorization autos that feature Jordan Lebron and Kobe.. you should also get around 8-12 patch cards in the case, but don't quote me on that.

I've been thinking about breaking a case too, but not 100% convinced yet. You should watch some breaks on youtube, review the checklist and take a look at beckett before you commit.

I am thinking of cracking a case. Got a good price on it and hopefully get a Jordan auto.

Resale is terrible but opening is fun. If you want more bang for your buck get 08-09 Premier or 07-08 Chronology. Those are a lot more collectable and the hits are nicer. 85% are on card autos. Rookie Threads has 95% stickers.
