great article but I hope my Nets will prove you wrong (they are showing some real promise being the only winless team in the pre-season)

Everyone is underestimating the Pistons. I think 3-4 weeks into the season people will not be so down on them. They will be much better than most give them credit for.

Sorry, Sam, I wasn't writing the NBA preview for 10 years from now...lol
The_Man - they do look good in the preseason, but without a true superstar (Devin Harris and Brook Lopez are good, but I don't think either will be a superstar, this year at least), they are going to have alot of trouble.
realreodeal - if it wasn't for a surprise pick, I would've put them at the 8 seed...but, I wanted a surprise pick per conference...and I honeslty don't see them getting in over the Heat, Hawks, Bulls or Wizards...Wizards possibly, simply because of their performance last year, but Arenas didn't play last year...

Shocked that you picked the Celtics to win!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Too bad they're over the hill and Garnett looks like trash so far. Can't wait to trash talk with you throughout the season!
