Idk about that-they are changing the car come 2011 supposedly-so it might give the competition a year to break the dominance. But 5 time is VERY likely haha.

I wasn't exactly approving of the idea Jeremy. That would absolutely KILL the sport!

yeah-if Jimmie was entertaining to some people it wouldnt haha. John Force won 14 Funny Car titles in a row and it just made him and the sport of Drag Racing more popular-probably cause hes wildy entertaining and controversial, and a basketcase haha. Sometimes I wish Jimmie was like that haha.

really glad to see newman walk away from that ugly one. him and mark martin both wrecked up pretty good and they have different thinking on wrecking. newman said that it ruins the sport and that if thats what you like to see in nascar then get out because you dont belong, and when they interviewed mark after he said im sure it looked cool and the fans got what they want. i just found the difference of opinion interesting. really glad to see 2 of my favorite drivers finish up front, kasey and joey. very exciting race for me i loved the lead changes.

Newman wasn't talking about the flipping and wrecking when he said that, he was talking about the first 150 laps and the "no shoving" rule and how boring it was playing follow the leader.

Something is wrong with the COT design, because Newmans car flipped weird.
It didnt flip over on its side, it just flipped over straight onto his roof.
The wing on the back might have played a factor o.0
Glad Newman and Martin (My fav!) are alright and that Dale Jr (Also my fav!) did good!

I honestly think if Newmans car didn't land on Harvicks hood, it would have been real serious. I think that really cushioned the impact.

I Agree, sux for Harvick but I believe he saved Ryan from getting Hurt.

Nascar needs to allow more input from the drivers since they are the ones that are out there.
I am just so happy that Ryan walked away from that wreck. Scared the c$%p out of me!!!

Nascar doesn't care about the drivers input, they proved that with the lack of responses from the others involved in that mess they caused, would have been a different race if the told them wednesday instead of sunday what was expected in reference to drafting

I believe Mark was being sarcastic and referring to what Nascar thinks the fans wanna see, I doubt very highly people travel from all over the country as well as the globe for a chance to see thier favorite driver hurt or possibly killed by BS rules laid down by Nascar hrs before the race without a chance to prepare

Actually it's not a C.O.T. problem, I believe it was 1997 when the cartoon network car got turned around in the daytona 500 and came up to spin on the nose and luckily spin to land back on the wheels, this is definetly something they need to look into though

that race was so boring with the no corner bump drafting. it was like watching a marathon where everyone walks 25 miles then sprints the last one.
