I had terrible luck with this product last year and didn't really like much about it other than the base set design. I might try a couple packs, but I don't think I'll get a box unless everyone is getting major hits. That said the mini-auto list looks decent but nothing for me really to chase.

There's an mini-auto and mini-gu Lidstrom for me to chase. Along with the base and mini parallel of course. I really like the design but that's way too expensive for me. I'll have to rely on trading to get the cards I need. Heck, I still need last year's Lidstrom stuff.

completely agree, $100 for 2 autos and 2 jsy's is too much, especially since u can get daniel carcillo or matt stajan as ur mini auto.

Or Cory Murphy and Ilya Zubov... Hated the fact that there was 10X the amount of low end guys inserted compared to any decent hits.

yea i think a lot of people hit stafford last year as their auto, that would be irritating...the mini thread checklist actually looks decent this year though, worst guys look like arnott, antropov, bernier...but the better players outweigh them IMO.

I was disappointed with last year's in general. Though I also had pretty high expectations for it. I just thought they'd go with a little higher quality card stock but the idea definitely still intrigues me. Oh, and the on-card autos was nice, can't argue with that.

Yeah last year you pretty much got one of the following

Filewich
Iggulden
Stephan
Murphy
Zubov
Gragnani
Stafford

etc, etc.

It will be a much better product if they fix that
