Ash, you got the story wrong. She was in the house. I was holding her back with my foot while I had the door somewhat opened. As the lady was walking down the steps, she like ran past me and ran out and bit her ankle.. making her fall over sideways. You didn't see it, I don't think. hahah

Oh, it was another time when she was in the back then...it just wasnt as dramatic..LOL

Very sorry to hear about Tia passing away.

    Losing pets is never easy.

It is obvious that everyone in your family loved her, so she definitely had a good life.

Shayne, Ashley & Mike I am so sorry to hear about Tia
It's an awful decision to have to make. But it was best for your fur baby.
Just know she is at peace and will be waiting for you at The Rainbow Bridge.

We had to put out Lakeland Terrier E.T. to sleep in June so I know exactly what you are feeling.

Think of the good times and know she wouldn't want you to be unhappy.

    Rainbow Bridge

Just this side of heaven is a place called Rainbow Bridge.

When an animal dies that has been especially close to someone here, that pet goes to Rainbow Bridge.
There are meadows and hills for all of our special friends so they can run and play together.
There is plenty of food, water and sunshine, and our friends are warm and comfortable.

All the animals who had been ill and old are restored to health and vigor; those who were hurt or maimed are made whole and strong again, just as we remember them in our dreams of days and times gone by.
The animals are happy and content, except for one small thing; they each miss someone very special to them, who had to be left behind.

They all run and play together, but the day comes when one suddenly stops and looks into the distance. His bright eyes are intent; His eager body quivers. Suddenly he begins to run from the group, flying over the green grass, his legs carrying him faster and faster.

You have been spotted, and when you and your special friend finally meet, you cling together in joyous reunion, never to be parted again. The happy kisses rain upon your face; your hands again caress the beloved head, and you look once more into the trusting eyes of your pet, so long gone from your life but never absent from your heart.

Then you cross Rainbow Bridge together....

I'm sorry for your loss guys. It's never easy to lose a family member. I can honestly say that I know how you feel, though. When I was 20, we had to put down our dog Ralph. He was 18 and in about the same state as poor Tia. I couldn't remember a time without him. I just realized, he's now been gone about as long as he was alive. It doesn't seem that way, my memories of him are so vivid.

Keep sharing your memories of Tia with each other and your friends, that's the best way to remember them.

    -Tom
