That Garnett is not a rookie. How about auctions that already ended? Ginobili is a pretty popular player.
EDIT:
I'm not trying to be rude, but where are you getting these "estimations"? I was able to find the exact same card:
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...130793361&rd=1
And this one isn't even graded.Last edited by Dodgerfan; 10-26-2004 at 12:55 AM.

A FEW QUESTIONS:
Are you questioning my $80 Beckett Value?
Are you questiong my $25 Price Value?-THIS PRICE WAS ON THE MONEY
I will assume you are questioning my $5 (this maybe should be $10) Fair Market Value?
PLEASE NOTE:
These are 3 different types of pictures. Pick which one you like (I assume you choose the middle one which closely matches the link you posted) (which I had already seen)
1. The auction you showed me was purchased by someone from San Antonio Texas (If you go to or sell your card to someone in the city the player is from you will make more)
2. Sell your card show me the deal and I might adjustment my quotes but I STILL WOULD RATHER HAVE 3 PICTURES OVER 1Last edited by mfweiland; 10-26-2004 at 02:43 AM.

LET ME FURTHER DEFINE THESE PRICES:
BECKETT VALUE: An over inflated price
PRICE VALUE: The Price your card will command in ideal market conditions
FAIR VALUE: The Price your card will command if you have to get rid of it immediately

Where does my data come from? You showed me one auction! I have tracked the sale of this card 5 different times in my database lol

That is a completely different card
1. It's not a refractor
2. It doesn't have the white border
3. It books for maybe $8-10. Huge difference
If I was going to "get rid" of the Ginobili card right now, I guarantee you I would get more than $5. I don't care if the person who bought it is from SA. Ebay allows you to sell items to people across the world. It's worth what people are willing to pay and obviously people are willing to pay $18+ for the non graded version. Graded cards usually sell for significantly more.

1. Look I told you the card had a $25 dollar value. STOP IGNORING THIS. Take the $18 card you saw + $2 shipping + $5 grade 9 PSA premium and you get the $25 price quote I told you-THIS IS THE BEST PRICE ESTIMATE YOU WILL FIND AND ITS FREE. Beckett makes millions and they cant even get close. If you did not see this please re-read the post I have stated this TWICE. READ, READ , READ.
2. I said I think you are making a valid argument about my LOW value and I was going to change it to $10. Well I have thanks for the input! I RPEAT MY NEW LOW PRICE IS $10
Here is the last sale price I tracked before the one we have both been looking at.
Manu Ginobili Topps Chrome White Border Refr. RC, $16.75 DLVD, 9. 04 (If this card is in a $1.50 screwdown, sent in a $1 bubble, with $1.50 DC + ship cost + $1 for gas and time to the P.O. + $2 in auction fees + a few other costs associated with sports card dealing better left for another post you can begin to see the ACTUAL card being worth about $10 or less to someone-Once again I repeat sports card pricing can be viewed in MANY lights)
3. If I had my choice we all would evaluate the 5 prices my company provides for sports cards.
A. HIGH PRICE
B. TRADE PRICE
C. FAIR PRICE
D. LOW PRICE
E. PUBLIC DEFINED PRICE
4. If you can post 1 auction link and think this is the be all end all of pricing for the card then I wish you the best of luck. LETS TAKE MY ONE AUCTION LINK: I buy the Regular card for a penny. I look in Beckett and see THE REFRACTOR, THE WHITE BORDER cards are 4 * more. Multiply 4 * .01 and there is your PRICE, WHY DONT YOU SELL IT FOR THAT (I think we can begin to see pricing involves MANY variables and will NEVER be captured from one snapshot (auction link) in time).
I could go on and on with more and more examples (I have seen this card sell 5 times in the open market twice for less then 5 bucks) but the bottom line is you don't want my advice so this is the last time I help you. GO BUY BECKETT (you can not even find the graded manu refractor priced in there, yet I can tell you it would be around $80: Hint research and applied mathmatics are a sweet thing. In stocks and bonds where Billions of dollars are on the line this is called matrix pricing.
TEST ME: Go sell your Jeffersons and Manu on Ebay
Happy Collecting!
Peace and Regards
