    Photobucket help

I've always had the issue with the sports card chrome design and my scanner now accurately presenting an image.

I was working with Photobucket's software editing program but came up empty as how to relate the chrome look as real as possible and do away with the dark out of focus pictures that are prevelant. Has anyone faced this problem and what has been your avenue to overcome?!

I want a chrome to look chrome for a change. This is mainly in reference to the base as I am satisfied with the turn out of refractors.

    Thank you!

Does the editing program allow for brightness change? I have an HP all-in-1, and my scans come up great, but that is my scanner. Does the scan always come up dark on just the chrome cards?

It may be a brightness issue with the scanner controls? It does show dark to other areas of cards. The chrome tend to bring it out more exclusively. Chrome literally are terrible looking and I've never dealt with the problem. So I may want to check the scanner settings? Does this call for busting out the instruction manual?

Here's what one of my chromes are looking like. Adjusted the settings in a custom area to the highest brightness and this is what came about. I don't see much of a difference. The Bowman Chrome on the right is what I'm trying to adjust. I have a Dell All-In-One 810 which may be an issue.

This is an '06 Chrome and it seems OK, like Ryan said you can try to adjust the brightness but it may not work that much. I believe I have the same scanner as Ryan an HP 3 in 1......Chrome cards are darker to begin with so there may not be much you can do.
