Im putting my 2cents in on Magic hat #9 - Not Quite Pale Ale from the company of the same name, Magic Hat Brewery. Here is the description of it:

#9Not Quite Pale Ale A beer cloaked in secrecy. An ale whose mysterious and unusual palate will swirl across your tongue and ask more questions than it answers. A sort of dry, crisp, refreshing, not-quite pale ale. #9 is really impossible to describe because there's never been anything else quite like it.

I personally like it cause it soothes the taste buds after eating hot/spicy stuff. It has a low ABV of 4.6 but the flavor makes it a starter for the nite.

I tried a few glasses of this when they were promoting it at a bar in my area. It's extremely floral and fruity. Awesome drink to cool down to on a summer night, but I'm not looking for that anytime soon.

dayzd, I'm sure you know all about this.

My favorite is Widmer Brothers Hefeweizen. One of my favorite beers I've had since moving out here to Oregon. Also, a couple restaurants in Cannon Beach have some good handcrafted beers.
