never said great defense now did I? good defense would get it done, of course you'll never see it, but defense while its needed isnt EVERYTHING, you do need to score to win, and Nash is by far the better offensive player, its actually not even close

Nash wouldn't be able to play average/solid defense on a consistant basis. And no, defense isn't everything - but offense surely isn't the only thing, and defense is far more important than offense. Anyone can score - it takes a special talent to play at a high level on defense, especially in a 6'4" frame.

WHAT? They have All-Defensive teams, and Defensive Player of the Year. How is defense, which like you said wins championships, under-rated? If it was the statement "Defense wins championships" wouldnt exist.
I think you meant to say over-looked perhaps?

Overlooked may've been a better choice, but underrated is true, too, in terms of coaches/players - so many don't emphasize defense as a key aspect to the way the game is played.

Nash is the better scorer, but JKidd is the better all-around player, so it's definitely JKidd for me, he's a triple double waiting to happen every game. There aren't many players who can do what he does, there is actually very few.
