local athletes
Just wondering if anybody lives near any professional athletes and can tell any stories about who they are and what there like.
I was just wondering because I live very close to Mike Mussinas parents and was thinking about all the stories about them. I cousin is a next door neighbor and hir perents are pretty cool. He was born in Montoursvill, PA and I guess a while ago he was buying all sorts of real estate to try and get them to rename the city Mussinaville! no lie. I also hear that he is a big dick when trying to get an autograph. I also hear that he has a very large car collection and that everytime he comes to town he is driving a different hundred thousand dollar car. I also have a set of his golf clubs he used in high school, would these be worth anything and how could you get something like this authenticated.
I also lived near Gary Brown. Does anybody remember this guy? Football player for some team. I went to school with his brother and gary helped coach the high school football team for a while.
His brother was a big yippie owned every pair of nike's that came out after 96. (and I mean every single pair, kid wore a pir of shoes 2 time and never wore them again)
Also lived by a rapper anybody remember "the riz". I guess he lost his record deal and came back to town to coach the high scool girls jv softball team. He was later arrested for sleeping with the head coaches doughter, she was like 14.
Anyways was just wondering. Anybody else have any stories.

Nope. However, I do remember Gary Brown. He was a running back for Penn State in the late '80's.

i live real close to brad miller and i have been to shawn kemps boyhood home.. not too far away
Brad comes home all the time and we see him at the grocery store and at our local high school basketball game... nicest guy i have ever met
i heard a story one time that he was at the grocery store and he was waiting in line when a little old lady came up to him and said, " your tall, you should play basketball" apparently brad got a laugh out of that one.

I live relatively close to Kobe Bryant. Seems like everyone around here knows someone who has seen him.
- My cousin saw him waiting for take-out at a restaurant. The workers at the restaurant squashed all the autograph seekers.
- My other cousin works at the Lakers hospital. Said he signed autographs for everyone in the lobby.
- Various people have seen him at church. When it comes time for "meet & greet" at church, you know where everyone goes.
- Personally, I saw him drive by, stop, & honk when I was in line at a Derek Fisher autograph signing. Fish must have told him about it or something.
All in all, I hear he is a nice guy. Not the arrogant punk you read about in the papers.
