Myers is still a beast and if he deserves to win, he better win.
Nothing gets to me more when people who are deserving don't get the awards.

You seem to forget Crosby was a 1st overall pick, didn't win. Stamkos was a first overall pick, didn't win. Just because you were taken first overall doesn't mean the NHL will hand the Calder trophy. Now as everyone has said, if Duchene or Myers or anyone else for that matter is head and shoulders above him and deserves to win then they should and likely will.

Crosby was #1 overall, but who beat him? A fellow guy that was also #1 overall

i'm gonna throw del zotto into the mix just because he's a ranger and i would hate to see myers get it cause hes a sabre lol. i'll also say that the sabres have a better all around offense than the rangers so its easier for him to produce points with players that can score consistently. also helps having a goalie with a 2.08 gaa and has the highest save percentage in the league, makes him look better imo. rags on the other hand just have gaborik and if hes contained then it's harder for del zotto to produce more points. i'll give myers the edge on the defensive game but i think del zotto is better offensively even though the points dont show it yet(well hes only 4 behind so its not that much). passing is definitely better from del zotto, i've seen him make several passes from his end all the way to the blue line that ends up creating a goal, his passing is amazing.
other than del zotto for me i would say duchene, varlamov or howard. i couldnt believe howards stats until now, with the red wings total collapse so far this season and he's pretty much the only guy keeping them afloat. varlamov is doing great too, 12-1-2 with a 2.21 gaa, if he starts playing more and plays this consistently i think he'll be a top contender.
