Next, Willie Roaf 1/1, out 12-11, back 2-18.. I was actually going though my football TTM log book last night & seen i didnt have a return yet from him & got to thinking wondered what happened to this one.. Like i do with a lot of my request that are still out.. lol Glad it made it back home.

If Willie Roaf is starting to sign, I will need to send out.

Roaf.. Nice. He's a little sporadic. I sent to him during the summer and haven't seen it yet. I've seen enough successes recently to just get another out ASAP.

Got 1 Return today & 1 RTS...
RTS came from Lou Piniella. wrote RTS on my envelope to him with " Undeliverable address" stamped acouple time also. No clue from others it seems like successes from him are few & far between anyways.
Next.. Luis Gonzalez 2/2, out 2-4, back 2-22. Couldnt be happier with the way these turned out.

Not sure what to make of todays successes..

First 2011 HOFer Chris Hanburger, 2/2, out 2-16, back 2-25. Absolutely love the sig, the inscription But... Thats not my Name.. lol My name is Rick & he personalized it to Rich. Not a Huge deal & easy mistake for anyone to make. Just kinda bummed. Might re-send him again & tell him what happened. He seems like a terrific signer so im sure he wont mind. then again, might not. Rich isnt to far off from Rick..

& the last success came from Peyton Manning.. out 1-4, back 2-25. I am speechless on this one.. Dont think i have ever been this disappointed with a success from an athlete. Let me explain. I sent a Mini Helmet, $35.00 dollars cash & a note explaining how much of a fan i am of his & the colts, asked if he would please personalize it to myself ( Rick ). I added that hopeing it would convince his handlers that if a fan is asking for a personalization then its trully for there personal collection but oh well..
anyways, Kept the cash & sent this back with my unsigned mini helmet..

Its a legit auto i just already have one of these. I know more than anyone that athletes owe us fans nothing & you gamble everytime you send in a request. Got to think he might be tied up with other issues & didnt have time to sign bigger items? because i have seen a handful of successes of flat items of late so i know he is signing again. Oh well, win some, loss some..

Well, the bad news is, Hanburger had the wrong personalization and Manning didn't work out as planned.
The good news is, you got a new Hall of Fame Inductee, and a Peyton Manning signed photo for $35. I know that's not exactly what you were hoping for, but it could've been worse!

Mr. Riggs-
I just want to tell you I enjoy your collection that you share and the the chances you take in this hobby. I know it has helped me a lot in my collection. Please do not get discouraged; you are a great friend to all of us. Sorry about Manning.....he's definitely "slowing down" for the time being.
