Where does this JSY come from?

Here's my thought. I'm guessing that an employee saw the Derek and accidently put in swatches from a Derek Roy Sabres jersey. The colors definitely look like they could come from a Sabres jersey....Just a shot in the dark.

That's always what I wonder when I see a swatch color that doesn't seem right. This website documents commemorative patches and logos that have been used - like the Detroit page shows some patches with yellow, perhaps the one you mention. As for the NYR page, I don't see anything with yellow, but maybe there was something used that just isn't documented on the website. Although my gut feeling is that the card is a mistake.

The problem is someitmes as mentioned above they might wear a patch which coudl be used for a short period. So it might not be a screw up as I had a wing jersey which was yellow but it was from a commerative patch way back that I did not know about but someone showed the proof. Of course there are mistakes like Inferno mentioned but not always.

Could it be part of a tag? I'd hate to think that with EVERY JSY we pull, trade for, or buy, that they could be just thrown together by a random pack of rabid monkeys, and WE end up spending hundreds of dollars on that crap....

not that im trying to discredit the site, it just doesn't have every alternative...so i wouldn't use it as the gold standard

they have the logo listed, but its not on the jersey so its hard to be 100% sure how it would have looked, or with alternate colour schemes....i love the site though....im just playing devils advocate lol

yea, this is crazy, i had seen this too and was wondering the same thing, but there was NEVER any yellow in any of the Rangers jersey's. And thank god for that, i would have to agree that this was a major screw up by our freinds at UD. And a huge screw-up for a card #'ed to 10!! WAKE UP YOU IDIOTS AT UD!!

Sorry, never any yellow in a GAME JERSEY, now if they are using practice jersey's, this needs to stop. Super cheap ™™™™™™™s!! For the price we pay, it should be a game worn jersey, not a practice or photo shoot.
