Pretty decent weekend with two returns. Here's what I got...
Lenny Moore
I really like this photo of Lenny getting a handoff from his quarterback, Johnny Unitas. Lenny added "1958-59 NFL Champs" inscription like I requested as well as his number and HOF year. I sent the $5 donation that he asks for with this one.

Lauren Bacall
Legendary actress and beauty of the silver screen. She was also married to one of the all-time great Hollywood stars, Humphrey Bogart. They did a few films together so I wanted to send a photo of them together in addition to a nice headshot of her. She signed both.

Slow week for me, with only one return coming in on Saturday.
Harry Carson
One of the great NY Giants. Being a huge Giants fan I was excited to send to him and get this one back. He's such a great signer and has a beautiful signature to boot. However, I was kind of disappointed that he signed this in black because it is hard to see a lot of the autograph over parts of the photo that are dark. It's not Harry's fault, but I have seen so many returns from him signed in silver or gold. Oh well, still awesome. He added "NY Giants" and "HOF '06" inscriptions.

First return of 2012...
Alex Webster
I started off the year by attending the Giants/Cowboys game on new year's day and then yesterday brought me a Giants legend in the mail. Alex Webster is very under appreciated, in my opinion, but he was just inducted into the Giants Ring of Honor at the new stadium a few weeks ago. That may be why it took him a while to send this back... I sent it just before he came up to New Jersey (he lives in Florida) for the Ring of Honor induction ceremony and I got it back a few weeks after that event.
He played ten years for the Giants, going to the Pro Bowl twice, then was head coach from 1969-74.
Signed my 8x10 in silver. Autograph is not in the best spot for readability, but I'm still excited about this one. Inscribed "To Brett, My best wishes".

One in the mail today, and one In Person from last night...
Leroy Kelly
He had big shoes to fill, being the Browns running back immediately after Jim Brown retired. But he was an amazing player too... and he's got a beautiful signature! Added "1964 NFL Champions" inscription which I requested, as well as his number and HOF year. I sent a $5 donation with this one, he wrote a note back saying 8x10s are $10. I owe the man $5! I'll send it to him...

Jake LaMotta
The Raging Bull! I got this one IP last night. I went into NYC to a very fancy cabaret club. At 90 years old, Jake was doing an autobiographical show with his fiance (probably about 40 years younger than him, no kidding) who sings and dances between Jake telling stories. After the show Jake was happy to meet everyone, sign autographs and take photos with everyone. Awesome experience and very happy with how this photo came out. Interesting note: also in attendance were Tina Louise (Ginger from Gilligan's Island), Joe Franklin (google him) and Sugar Ray Robinson Jr.
