Ive joined a few groupbreaks from them. Havent had a bad experience yet (crosses fingers). Though I do think they favour the ones that frequent and purchase their GBs (favour as in talk, discuss more than say newer people just starting but then again why wouldnt you?)

Like anything else in life, it's always easier to complain than it is to compliment. You never hear about all the FREE breaks C&C has done...or the discounts they give...or the donations they made...or simply put, the good they do for the hobby. Instead, you hear only from the very few who have an agenda against them.
I can guarantee you that for the few that do have agenda's against C&C and try to drag their name through the mud, there are hundreds of others that have had nothing but great experiences with them.
As much as the naive would like to think, NOTHING in life is perfect. I've had bad experiences at restaurants, hospitals, movies, etc.... For every bad experience I've had, there are thousands of others that feel the opposite I do.
Difference is, I don't go out trying to get everyone to dislike what I dislike. I don't make up stories and flat out lie about someone or something, for my own agenda.
In short, stuff happens. C&C, as well as a lot of other sites (SCF, HI, etc...) all have those that follow and love their sites....as well as a few that don't. However, going from one site to another, simply to bash those you don't like, is not only counter productive for our hobby, it also reeks of jealousy, envy, and plain ignorance. You will NEVER see a thread on C&C that allows members to bash another site, let alone another member, or a peer of another site. If a member has a problem, they go to a moderator who will try their best to resolve any situation that may arise. Again, nothing is perfect.
Here's to hoping that those is our hobby can simply learn to look past their allegiances, learn to all get along, and simply better our hobby.Last edited by kevin6666; 03-18-2012 at 12:07 PM.

I've never participated in their GBs, but my only complaint about their site is that the users don't seem to leave feedback for new people and my requests to administrators have gone without response.

I tend to agree with Kevin's comments above. Maybe they had some false starts and there were challenges in the beginning. Sounds like they learned from it and (I was not participating at that point) in my 20+ group breaks have never had an issue. They tend to support the customers that support them.

I recently joined CnC and I have to say, it's been a complete waste of my time. The site seems run well, but most of the members there...well...
I'll put it this way. If you're a new member on CnC be prepared to be annoyed and insulted. If you propose a fair trade, it will be declined. The only offers you will get will be offers that go beyond insulting. In short, prepare to feel unwelcome.
I've bought from the store and have nothing but good things to say there. Fair pricing, quick shipping and even extras. I would definitely buy there again. As for my time as a member on the trading site. Wasted.

I have participated in a couple group breaks, but didnt receive any good hits, so it dampened my spirits there a little bit, but i did receive my hits. As for the trading or buying/selling part of CnC, I have made a few decent deals, but I find that asking if anyone has a particular item on the blog chat is more useful than putting up a thread.

I have joined a few of CnC's group breaks and I have a couple criticisms: In all the breaks that I have been a part of I have gotten hits.
But I have become more and more skeptical in a sense.
They only do case breaks of new products, other wise it is a 20 box mix of 20 different releases. There is 2 problems with this in my opinion. The case hits may already be gone in all 20 boxes. Not that big of a deal but I think cases would be better instead of huge mixes. Secondly, I know they are a business but there group breaks are way over priced to anyone around. I know that for dominion 10 spot draft it was like 250 or so when Doncieage was doing them for 209 I believe. Also if you have ever sat in on a night of there blog prepare to hear this for 5 hours, " come on guys 29 more spots lets fill this tonight". That is all they say, they just try and remind there 50 viewers that they have to fill this break tonight. Like I have said in the past for group breaks online either stick to SCF, or Chad Redfern (youtube/blog: thettruth17) This guy busts hockey once and a while when there is a release and he often does strictly cases. Prices are excellent, Chad himself is a first class guy in the hobby, and his blog room has some personality, he is familiar with all 150 of his guests as long as you are active in the chat, and the talk in the room is always about sports, not how many spots are left.

As most of you know, I'm never spending another dime on that site due to the fact that my cards arrive after they're practically worthless from being old by that time or so badly damaged that I don't know what to do with them. Their prices are deeply inflated, another reason I have been spending my money elsewhere and as you said, I like going to Blog rooms and chatting about sports, politics, etc. and not getting constantly badgered about how many spots are left so we can line their pockets sooner. As someone else said too, if you are not one of their regulars, be prepared to be shat on.
