Last night I said to my wife it they waited to announce it because it was big and Shanny gave Torres a night without questions from the media.

    I think Torres is maaaaaaaaaaad

Is this a statement that true change is coming, or are the NHL just making a point towards a single repeat offender? I guess time - and the next dirty hit - will tell.

Habs fan and collector! Current PC's: Nick Suzuki, Cole Caufield, and Lane Hutson...., and of course...

I think the longest is Chris Simon's 30 game suspension for stomping on Ruutu.

Last i checked dale hunter on turgeon was the longest, wow, where have i been? -_-

So stomping....with Skates....should have got fired. Suspension isnt enough for almost puncturing someone.

This is Shanahan trying to make a statement. He's been screwing the pooch for the entire first round and now Torres fell into his lap. Make no mistake, when a star player does the same thing it will be 3 games and he'll say it was the "repeat offender" bit that got Torres for the other 22.
