...and the Flyers move on with a 5-1 thumping. Never really a close game; Philly dominated it from the start, and ended the Pens season convincingly.

    YAY for you! Congrats man!!!

Anyway....Pittsburgh just didn't come to play and it was clear early on they were done for. Don't know what it is about them but they just left the game in the locker roon too many times. The favored teams aren't faring so well in this year's playoffs. That's for dang sure.

Not congrats for me...I'm a Blue Jackets fan. I just hope we can make the playoffs again and actually win a game eventually. Have to find some controversy to keey myself entertained during the playoffs!

I don't think Philly is going to fare to well against whoever they play in the next round, unless they can play like they did today.

Well that was some kinda anti-climactic finale.

Barring a Boston/Philly round 2 match, I can now resume disliking the Flyers.

But wow, that Giroux is something special.

Never been this depressed after a series. And I still remember that freaking David Volek goal.

As a Habs fan, passing him over for David Fischer is going to haunt the team for a very long time.

Glad to have that one out of the way. I said before the playoffs, the two teams I was afraid of were Pitt and Boston. I felt they were the two teams with good enough goaltending, physicality and team speed that could give us trouble. Good for the Pens for showing some heart to make the series interesting when it could have been a sweep. On to round 2.

Such a bummer. Going a very long and very miserable off season for us Pens fans. So much went wrong and so little went right in this series...............some SERIOUS changes need to be made. And it's so frusterating because every regular season the Pens are among the leagues best, and have then been terrible in the playoffs. Well, every season except their Cup, obviously.
