how long have you been working on those two sets?

The 89' Topps set I have been working on for a little over 2 years. Up to currently 533 cards signed out of 792.

Well my computer had some problems for the past week and a half and I have not been able to post my successes with photos. Now that my computer has been fixed I have been able to post'em up.



Glenn Wilson - Thanks to thehalk (Darrell) for this one. Great trader for anyone who works out a deal with him! Both cards are set hits for my 89 Topps and 90 UD sets.

Butch Wynegar - Sent 2 cards c/o his minor league team 12 days ago. Returned them both signed on 4/23/2012.

Tim McGraw - Had a ticket stub from 2006 in which I met him and Faith Hill before the concert. I actually won a Tim McGraw look alike contest that afternoon and got backstage to hang with both of them. I get the "Oh my gosh, you look like Tim McGraw" all the time and every where I go. Anyway, though I would try sending this ticket since I didn't ask for him to sign anything in 2006. Was shocked to see it come back signed and it looks authentic. Sent on 4/16/2012 and returned on 4/23/2012

Leah Ayers - Many may remember her from Bloodsport as Van Dam's girl in the movie. I have been sending out a lot of requests from actors fro mthe 80's and 90's movies that I enjoyed. Sent 2 photos to her and received them both signed. Happy to get both of these back as I took a gamble as I have never seen a return from her.



Jeremy Bulloch - sent an 8x10 and a 4x6 photo to his address overseas back in December. Returned then both signed on 4/23/2012. Very happy about this Star Wars success! I included money for him to buy postage and he returned it from Canada

YA Tittle - Sent an e-mail to him through his company months ago. Can't remember when. Actually wrote this off b/c I saw others getting some back and others not. Was shocked to see this one come through the mailbox to me! Very happy with this HoFer return!

Lost...Found...and now Posted

Last night I found some successes that I misplaced. I got most of these in the last 2 weeks and since my computer was down I put them away waiting to post them. Here you go:



Natalie Dorman - actress from Captain America and also Game of Thrones. Signed 2 photos from her agent. Took less then 2 weeks.

Paul Molitor - for some reason, Mr. Molitor has never liked to sign my 89 Topps cards I have sent him. I tried for the last time during spring training. Returned this card back signed, finally! :)

Annika Sorenstam - Finally received my 2011 A&G cards signed by this incredible female golfer. Took a little over 6 months.



Kimberly Caldwell - she was a contestent on American Idol a few seasons ago. She is still a singer and also an actress. She was in Wrong Turn 2 and was the first victim in the movie. She signed the photo from the movie I sent and also using her own money sent me a signed 8x10 and paid for the postage.

Ewa Laurance - sent a postage paid envelope and she returned an 8x10 signed photo. Her address can be found on her webpage.

Thanks! This was the 3rd time I sent to Molitor trying to get my 89 Topps signed by him. This was also the quickest return I have gotten from him. He is usually pretty good on signing at 1 card. Sometimes it does take him a while.

Swung by to graph the Bulls the past 2 Sunday nights.

1 week ago - Hit the Indianapolis Indians the night they no hit the Bulls. Didn't have much time to prepare as it was last minute. Grabbed a few cards.

Doug Slaten - was one of the pitchers who pitched the no hitter. Was really cool and signed as much as you wanted. He signed 2 cards. A&G is in my PC

Jeff Clement - would only sign 1 per so my wife graciously got one other signed for me. The A&G is going in my PC. He was really nice and cool.

Shawn O'Malley - plays for the Bulls and walked by with his g/f. No one else graphed him and I asked him if he would mind signing. He signed a few for me and he stopped and chatted for a few minutes. Great young talent and hopefully up and coming MLBer.

Brandon Boggs - award goes to him for jerk of the night. He was a complete a**. He didn't want to sign for anyone then he started to sign while walking. I asked him to please sign the A&G for my set and he gave me a smarta** comment and then finally signed it. If I knew that I wouldn't have asked him to sign.



Last night - The Norfolk Tide came through which meant Pat Neshek. My wife didn't want to go with me so I decided to go and finally meet the man. After the game he came out to all of us and signed for a good 45 minutes and shared quite a bit of stories. He signed 5 cards for me. Some guy got 36 cards signed. Pat is an awesome guy.

Xavier Avery - signed a card for me, not very personable but he signed.

Chris Tillman - pitched the first part of the double header. Would only sign 1 per

Bill Hall - everyone waited around for him to come out. Of course he would be the last player to come out. He spent time with his family and then signed 1 per before he left. Thankfully he signed mine before leaving.
