Almost time to drop the puck for game 2,I see another close one this time the goal post won't be as nice to the Rangers 4-3 Capitals win is my prediction.

Rangers had been dominating, but they gave up a nice rush to the Caps that resulted in a Mike Knuble goal 1-0 Caps.

Ugh,Kreider stopped on a breakaway by Haltby coming out of the penalty box,Caps go the other way and bad puck handling by Lundqvist leads to another Caps Goal 2-0

Bad line change in a 4 on 4 situation by the Caps leads to a nice tic tac toe goal by the Rangers,Del zotto to Gaborik to Richards for the goal 2-1 Caps, but the Rangers will be on a powerplay for the start of period 2

No love for this series it seems, got home from work to catch the last 10 minutes of the first period, pretty entertaining with the Caps having a slight edge 0-0 after 1 GO-RAGS-GO.
