I don't see this series ending quickly, but if the Devils can't shoot the puck without having it blocked before it ever reaches the net that will be a problem. The Rangers blocked more shots than Lundqvist had to save 26 to 21 I believe.I also found the uncalled penalty on Del Zotto for closing his hand on the puck turned momentum,as the Rangers scored on their trip up the ice,in the press conference DeBoer said he didn't even notice the play and that is not why the Devils lost.I beg to differ, that is exactly why the Devils lost,if that penalty is called,1 there is a play stoppage,2 The teams are back at even strength with the Devils eventually having a powerplay,3 The momentum swing was huge,Girardi's long goal seemed to deflate the Devils.I predicted the Rangers in 6,as I have in their previous 2 rounds, but this one is either going 6 or less,it will not be a 7 game series.

3-0 is a whitewashing when you look at this year's game scores. The devils had 4 of every 5 shots blocked. That is much worse than a problem, that is a crisis.

From a fan standpoint, I'm a Rangers die-hard, but from the graphing standpoint, I have a ton of autographed Marty stuff, and it would be nice to cash in on it after he wins the Stanley Cup and retires.

    RAGS ALL THE WAY!!!!

3-0 with a empty net goal and a goal that shouldn't have counted... maybe you should watch the game instead of just looking at the stats.

Maybe you should stop acting like a 5 year old for starters.

Im not acting like a 5 year old in any way... you made a comment and I responded because it seems that from your comment you didn't see one minute of the game. Therefore to make a comment like that is simply unreasonable considering the fact that you didn't see one minute of the game and yet feel that the devils were killed when that was simply not the case. Which is something anyone who actually watched the game can tell you.

I've watched every minute of every playoff game as I have for over 50 years.

You made your point, and you simply assumed that I didn't watch the game.

Take off your Devils eye patch, and admit that you were beaten like a cheap rug in the 3rd Period, and that your Net-minder had problems stopping a Beach Ball.

    I only report facts.

Beaten like a cheap rug in the 3rd period doesn't take the whole game into account which we clearly outplayed them in the 2nd and you can argue the 1st period as well. And to help that argument simply look at page 1 and look at the RANGERS fans comments about the game. This was no kill as for some reason only known to you, you see it as. Brodeur let in 2 in the 3rd but also made one of the greatest saves thus far in the playoffs... so i still don't know if you watched the game or only the highlights.

So you're saying the Rangers should have only beaten you 3-1? Would that make you feel better? I don't give a damn what Ranger's fans commented on, I saw what I saw.

Your team got handed it's Arse in a 12 minute time frame, get over it.

And the other team got outplayed in a 20 minute time frame. Big deal... the game was a lot closer then what you are making it out too be. That's all.

That game was not that close. I counted the Devils scoring chances on one hand.

The Rangers forwards and defense blocked almost everything. With the exception of Parise with 5 shots on goal, who shoots every time he gets the puck (which is wise against the Rangers), your team was anemic.

If they don't get at least 26-30 shots on goal tomorrow night, the result will be the same, another 3 goal loss.
