then you'd be giving out a whole lot of free SPGU boxes -- and heading down the rabbit hole along with UD (if the rumours are true)
I wouldn't be surprised if the rumours were. I have no idea how other UD products (like their 'entertainment' series or other sports) are doing, but if it's anything like the hockey prodduct, then watch out!

I was thinking more along the lines of boxes of something lower end like ud1 or 2, but something to make up for the atrociousness that is spgu. UD should just make gaming cards and takeover the yugioh universe.

Problem is people keep buying boxes at 185$ that gives absolute nothing back in return. If the big mass of people would refuse to buy it would show UD that we dont accept overpriced boxes for almost no value back.. only reason they can pump out game used every year that gets more and more expensive without changing it much is that people buy it.. people complain but still next year all thoose buy tons of boxes and cases.. so stop buying the crap sets and we will see how long they will be in the busieness with this.

The problem is that the refractors will sell for a pittance on ebay, and then everyone will complain about how they couldn't get their money out of the box.
without a sick patch or an autograph, no one cares about AWESOME looking cards anymore.

Any preference if they're authentic or counterfeit Yu-Gi-Oh?
Habs fan and collector! Current PC's: Nick Suzuki, Cole Caufield, and Lane Hutson...., and of course...

#1 Every card company needs to stop having fifteen different versions of the same jersey card. I mean Artifacts have Tundra Tandems and such that have 3-5 versions (/135, /75, /50 etc......boring!!!!!
#2 Give ITG a license. More competition means that companies will have to pull their weight and either be on the front lines of new ideas or fall by the wayside and go out of business.
#3 Kill the fifteen thousand brands UD does. I dont mind having UD 1 and 2, SPA, The Cup, Artifacts as they all kind of hit different aspects of collectors. But to me SPX, Victory and all that can go.
#4 Collectors need to realize that buying packs and boxes are a gamble...just as if you are in Vegas. Sometimes you win and sometimes you lose. If you were always guaranteed to break even it would not allow as much for those awesome pulls. That being said I think that there is no excuse for things like this years SPGU....ridiculous.
Just my two cents.....

I'm glad that I never breaks boxes anymore.
My lastest was Pacific Private Stock 01/02 (AWESOME!!! jersey, patches, inserts, parallels, subsets, base cards in a same box!) and BTP 01-02 (only one memorabilia in a box 1:24 and no autos like now)
Boxes are so expensive nowadays...
Almost no budget or mid-budbget boxes out there in the market nowadays, it was better before in the end of 90's and early 2000's.
I really miss that day when many of us collectors really appreciated both inserts and memorabilias with nice design.
That's sadly that almost all now only cares for a one-in-a-case-huge-mojo-memorabilia-hit to sell for a huge $$$ and doesn't give a **** about the rest.
I don't understand how UD still keeping to produce ™™™™ty-looking jersey cards year after year and too many of theirs memorabilia cards are too grayish...it's almost if UD is afraid of colors....?

I've read it 3 times. Maybe the card companies should read it!
