I wish I could find a link, but a study recently concluded that plants let out an inaudible (to human ears) scream when threatened. Not even when injured or cut down, threatened.

So yes, comparing animals to plants, as they are sentient enough to know when they're threatened and have the ability to voice it. As for the perfect thing,I figured since you think you have the right to judge everyone else, you must be. Though I will say, I doubt leather cows get treated any better than burger cows, so the fact that you watch baseball must mean you hate animals like all us meat eaters. I suppose that makes you a HUGE hypocrite because you're not only as guilty as us, but you're trying to tell us we're bad people.
Now if you'll excuse me, I'm going to go punch my cat in the face because I hate her and have the $7000 vet bill I paid for her kidney stones to prove it.

i assumed you were aware of there being no evidence that plant life feels pain. if there was you'd actually have an argument. and fyi, i honestly don't take offense to someone calling me arrogant. i feed on it :)
