Let us keep the guns we want just implement a super strict system like this where it is hard to get the chips. You have to pass background checks, show efficiency, pass multiple tests, and pass psychological exams.

There should be mandatory IQ testing to own a gun of any description, or to raise children. If you don't meet the criteria, then sorry about your bad luck.

There should be common sense testing as well, of which I could develop a thorough survey in a half a day, close to 50% of Americans would fail my common sense test, so no handguns for you.

i find it strange that the most commonly used weapon in a mass shooting is a semi auto pistol but you are okay with them its the ar 15 you want to demonize.

This last attack was done with a Bushwacker? another .223 assault weapon
I was the AR15 because it is one I know of off hand. I am sure there are others I would add to the ban.

Why should it be okay for the military and police to have "assault" weapons, but not private citizens?

I'll demonize it, check out the image to see it at work... that WAS a deer by the way, much larger than a 6 year old kid.
Imagine what the kids looked like -- and then tell me why you or I need access to that weapon.

The communists think the American population should be disarmed.

Not a bad trade off, right? Give up our guns and we can have as much freedom as the Chinese? Wrong. I bet the Chinese who survived Mao would have a very different perspective on giving up their guns. After all, Mao's communist government killed tens of millions and remains in power today.

very few proponents to stricter gun laws actually want to outlaw all guns. Arguing that there's a legitimate push to take all guns out of the hands of the citizens of the united states is simply incorrect and I see it as more fear mongering. I'm sure you can dig up some radicals that would love to see all guns removed from the private citizens, but it's really not a legitimate chance that it would happen.

I agree, but more gun regulation is a panacea. Take a look at this chart and tell me if this looks like guns are really the problem. Then answer why Canada and the U.S. are so different.

I'm aware of that, but there are plenty of people that would have no problem with completing disarming the population.
