He is guilty, he personally was in no potential harm until he chose to go outside with his gun. If Im wrong then it will be interesting. IMO outside the law I have no problem with people doing this to protect there communities. People shouldn't have stay indoors because gang members and criminals act like terrorists. This type of thing should be legal.

So if I have this correctly, the guy with the gun pulls out the gun and tells these kids to freeze, then the one kid who goes after him gets shot? The guy with the gun has to be guilty, you can't just go pulling out a gun on people.

Just to be clear, I believe he initially saw them by his car in his driveway. They were allegedly going through cars in the neighborhood to find ones that were open to steal stuff. So he wasn't just pulling a gun on someone, he was trying to stop a crime.

Oh, that's pretty different, then. What state? Do they have a Stand Your Ground law?

it's called "dial 911". no reason for this guy to go out and confront anyone... and the fact that he took the time to load a gun and "follow" them to the next car is just plain stupid.

...and why compare this to the Zimmerman situation? nothing in common... just another way to instigate the other members of the site?

There are plenty of similarities. Older man shoots teenager in self-defense. Both put themselves in the situation instead of just observing. Diffent races involved. And most importantly, both defendants were acquitted by reason of self-defense.

The big difference? The race baiters and media did not get involved because it did not forward their preferred narrative of white males oppressing minorities.

Yeah. I noticed a certain lack of outrage around here too...

Nothing stopped you from getting all hot and bothered with zero evidence in another, similar case. Consistency isn't for everyone, though the way the races flipped and the fact you aren't screaming about racism does tell me a LOT.
