For the time I've spent on this forum I still don't understand why so many get so bent out of shape about other people's asking prices, I find it quite humorous! Kudos to the seller who sold a used redemption card!

i know this is not a hockey card but it just blew my mind about what people are trying to sell.

a redeemed redemption card. (scrap paper)

crazy things is the fact that there are bids!

i wonder if the people who buy this are also the same people who would buy used underpants

    That escalated quickly.

For some people it's just a form of "completion" on the card and their player PC. For a lot of cards that are/were redemptions I still have the original stupid decoy with sticker.

Also, I think it's the people that *sell* used underpants that are the real weirdos. LOL

Habs fan and collector! Current PC's: Nick Suzuki, Cole Caufield, and Lane Hutson...., and of course...

heres something I've never experienced before. Some guy opened a case against me for not having received his card after 2 weeks from shipping date (Canada to US shipping). ... Yes that is a little long, but I got the card returned to sender and had to resend it out. But 2 weeks is still a little fast draw of the case open gun if you ask me. Either way, so this #?!&@ opens the case against me, and I guess I didn't realize this before, but someone purchased something off of eBay from me, and no funds are withheld I ASSUME until this guy closes the case saying he received his card?

Someone want to verify that's what happens, this is the first case I've ever had opened against me.

I do agree to a point. There was a SGA Bobblehead I wanted up for $22 BIN /BO. I did a search and saw the only 2 have sold recently and they were sold at .99 and $5 respectively. I offered $5 for it + shipping. It was declined w/ no counteroffer or reason given. I went on with my day as usual as it wasnt destroyed because i didnt land this . He's looking for something close im guessing to the BIN but I may of gone up a couple bucks though if I got response back with the decline.

    100% truth.

There is nothing that these sellers have, that any of us *NEED* to own. Don't worry about. If the price you think is "fair" really is, another copy will come along eventually..... or the seller will get tired of not selling it, and lower the price.

Collecting cards is not a race. Be patient, and you'll get the price you want - if what you want really is fair.

Need to vent. I seem to attract all the fickle buyers on ebay. Just received two low DSR's for S&H from two different buyers. I guess $12 for tracking, insurance and signature is to high now. Its things like this that have been making me reconsider the amount of wax I crack.

They are witholding your funds do to your newness. You only have 69 eBay transactions, that's like none to them. You simply have not sold enough or had enough of a business presence as yet.

They do this all the time to new sellers, low feedback eBay members, and people that don't actually follow through with the transaction. Sell 50-60 cards in a 30 day period and they will leave you alone.

They hadn't withheld funds previous to this once I met the requirements ($250 sales, 90 days, ect)... only because I had a case opened against me by some moron.
