For purposes of this a sin will be any product that is not neccessary to day to day living that if abused can cause serious problems for yourself or others. Yes I know that definition is open to interpretation.

Separate taxes already exist (in most areas) for alcohol and tobacco. Why do it again under a different name?

veggie, one of the oldest men on earth was asked how he lived so long, his answer was cigarettes, whiskey, and women. you don't need soda to live, what next another New York ban? too much exercise can kill you, really too much of anything can.
what I see is, anything you can't buy with foodstamps is a sin?
