I believe we are already taxed up to our necks on ridiculus taxes. Before long they are going to tax how much air we breathe or how much food we eat. It is just crazy to think more taxes should be add on SINs that people enjoy, especially when we know th emoney would not go to fund anything beneficial.

I`m sorry but this is funny to read. If you are up to your neck than me and wickabee are standing at the deep end of the pool.

I guess I don't, because I read it three times now and can`t see any sarcasm. My apologies. You are happy with your rate of taxation. Me too.

Why do you have a problem with that?

For purposes of this a sin will be any product that is not neccessary to day to day living that if abused can cause serious problems for yourself or others. Yes I know that definition is open to interpretation.

That could include a second hammer for your household, so yes it is.
Separate taxes already exist (in most areas) for alcohol and tobacco. Why do it again under a different name?

I was gonna say. And I'm in BC, so I don't even get decent health care out of it.

veggie, one of the oldest men on earth was asked how he lived so long, his answer was cigarettes, whiskey, and women. you don't need soda to live, what next another New York ban? too much exercise can kill you, really too much of anything can.

what I see is, anything you can't buy with foodstamps is a sin?
