I think that is because if you on .com and seller doesn't have it marked that they ship to Canada it does not appear on .ca

But isn't that what the worldwide search gets around?? Plus the seller is in BRAMPTON, ON......and I found it on .com, with 6 hours to go :(

Is this name or address familiar to anyone? He tried to rip me off for $550 on eBay, and went thru great lengths to do it. So I'm curious as to whether or not he may have used his real address and/or name and if this person is perhaps on this or another forum. Thanks and here is the name and addy.

Grizzly1978axe. It has no feedback. He created it as part of his scam.

This is incorrect. the username above is in lower-case. It won't work with an upper-case G as shown by the OP.

Very annoying. I usually use .ca but I do a .com search every 2-3 days for my main interests and will find 2-3 items per month that I want in this fashion.

If you do .ca you will not get a worldwide ebay search.

why have the BO option in the first place if you have no intention of even reviewing an offer.
Can someone explain to me why a seller would do this?
