I hear you. You could do one of two things. Pay for it and leave them a negative for gouging you on shipping. Or, request they cancel the deal.

"Dear depechedepeche,
Hello , I gave you a refund on this card because you claimed it did not arrive , well i am a member of multiple trading card forums and have found you sent the exact same message that you sent me to other sellers claiming you didn't receive cards and need them for your fathers birthday , so either your mailman is a thief or you are .. either you give me my money back that i refunded you i good faith or this will be reported to the police and ebay so they can decided who the thief is.

I got the same message from this guy. About 1.5 years ago. Said he didn't received the package and he just wanted 2 detroit red wings cards for his father's birthday. Idiot me sent him more. They weren't worth much so I didn't really care that much about it. I have had great luck on FeeBay considering the horror stories I have read. 2000+ 100% feedback so I believe this is the first time I have been ripped off.
The only negative feedback I ever received was someone with 1 feedback (from me) and the card came back to me. 4321 Metrolpolitian Rd..... doesn't exist. I got the card back, he didn't ask for a refund. I essentially got $4.00 for negative feedback.
Interesting though ... I forgot about that guy and his father's birthday every day of the year :P
Good-luck, everyone should block him.

Do yourself a favour and putting runningstar1986 on your block list immediately.
Between the harassing PM's, threats of negative feedback, abuse of the eBay feedback system, and outright childishness you're doing yourself a huge favour.

Never buy from this type of seller, ever. If you see shipping to Canada that looks like an elaborate hoax to get you to pay more money, then it is exactly that, an elaborate hoax to get you to pay more money.

Very well said.
The only time I've got anything other than positive... was a neutral. It was on a lot of 9 Ovechkin cards... low end inserts, kind of thing. I believe I sold it for $2 + $2.50 for s/h.
I was in Cambridge at the time, and the buyer was in Brantford. They asked if I would be willing to meet them at the mall in Cambridge, and do a cash exchange instead of shipping to them. I said I could not.... and let's be honest here, if it was a $50 transaction, I probably would have - and even offered to buy the guy a coffee when we were doing the exchange (I have met up with local people for buying or selling before, when the transaction warented it). Imagine my surprise when when I get neutral... but the comment is something like "nice cards, fast shipping. Thanks". I sent him a message, asked if the neutral was a mistake. No reply. Contact eBay, they won't do anything - but suggest I submit a request to have the feedback changed. I do that.... you can't write a whole lot on that form, so I had to write something like "How is 'nice cards, fast shipping' anything by positive?". A day later the feedback was changed so it simply read "nice cards".
That is they way eBay does business though. It's all about protecting the buyer, and sticking it to the sellers. I've listed cards in the last couple of weeks for the first time in months. I didn't realize how stupid the system has become, with needing to create "shipping policies", entering the dimensions of your package, etc. If it wasn't for the fact that it is still a great place to get lots of views on your items - and a good chance to get a good selling price.... I'd just quit trying to sell there all together.
Good for you! Scum like that is what ruins the system for the rest of us.
This post was quite old (three weeks back) but hope that worked out okay for you. The buyer sounds like he's full of it.... putting multiple cards into a single top loader is pretty common shipping practise - and if I got a package where I could not find the other 4 cards, that's the first place I'd look.
COMC though, I've been using the site - and I can't say enough good things about them. Very good to deal with, respond to everything quickly.

eBay has a fundamental point that they teach all employees. That tidbit of information, is "Their Kool-Aid" and it's some of the worst in the corporate business World.
I had an actual eBay Manager say over the phone to me "The person that bids on your auctions, or buys them outright is our "Ebay Customer", not yours!
Can you believe this? I countered with. "Then does this person that bought my goods, pay the invoice that I am sent each month from eBay?"
He did not answer, so I said, "Please allow me to make this simple for you." "If the customer that just bought my goods, is not my customer, but eBay's customer, then who's customer am I?"
Once again, no answer, only Crickets.Last edited by centrehice; 12-02-2013 at 06:35 PM.

Impatient Buyer.

My House in Oregon >>>>>> Their House in Philadelphia - 3,600 Miles that's all.

There is nothing worse than a buyer that is irrational and impatient.
